Tricia discovered her love for Yoga in 2015. She is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and is also certified to teach children’s yoga and BarreFlow. Before teaching yoga, Tricia could be found coaching cheerleading all over the capital district, for a total of 23 years. Tricia is certified to teach elementary education pre-k – grade 6 and special education from birth to age 21. She currently works for Albany County in the division for children with special needs as a Special Education Evaluator. She has an amazing daughter, Krysti, who started yoga first and encouraged her mother to give it a try and a beautiful granddaughter Nicole, the newest addition to the family! Outside of the Studio, Tricia enjoys watching sports, taking hot yoga classes, gardening, cooking, walking, hiking, camping, kayaking, going to the beach, working out at the gym and spending time with her family. She has a passion for working with children and helping them to find joy in learning yoga as well. Children’s yoga can help to promote a healthy mind and body, increase focus and attention, decrease anxiety, build awareness and compassion for others, improve circulation, digestion and mental functioning and it’s just fun!
